Dave had this melody idea he'd come up with while mowing his yard. I right away liked the Tom Petty vibe he had going. After getting some lyrics down, we went into the studio. Dave already had a sense of where the production should go with the drums, electrics and organ. Love his lap steel in the intro and throughout this track. Andy Hull (Clint Black) played drums on this one.
